As an artist, I am a magpie and a daydreamer. I collect interesting objects, pretty colors, and shiny things and eventually, they all make their way into my artwork. All objects carry memories with them, and by giving them new life these memories carry on and grow, adding value to things that could have otherwise been easily discarded. My art is for those like me who are drawn to things that spark the imagination and envelope the viewer in a narrative of their own choosing. I want to help people find value in the mundane part of life, the stretches of time between adventures or the hours after work in which we live our real lives. Sometimes resistance is simply learning how to survive and thrive like a dandelion growing up through the cracks in concrete.
